Enjoying Support Through Relationship (Ruth 1: 1-18)

As believers we need to understand that life is full of mysteries and puzzles, ups and downs. Someone who is in wealth today may be living from hand to mouth tomorrow, Likewise, someone who is strong and healthy today may become sick tomorrow. May no evil befall us in Jesus' name. But the truth is 'no condition is permanent'. This is the more reason why we must relate well with people that we come across as we go on in life. Naomi, as the mother- in-law to Ruth and Orpah, could have chosen to frustrate her daughters-in- law by virtue of her position. If this has been the case, she too would have suffered alone in her old age. However, Naomi related well and was nice to her daughters-in-law that when she would have been alone and hopeless, Ruth went out of the ordinary to support her all through her old age. Know that whatever you do to people today as you relate with them is a seed

which you will harvest at the appropriate time. .

Point of Emphasis: Your attitude will determine people's response to you in your hour of need.

Prayer Point: Help me Lord, not to chase away those You have ordained to help me through my bad attitude in Jesus name.
