Mourning Over Sin Brings Healing (2 Chro. 7:12-18 )

Sin brings judgment, not only on individuals, but also on a nation. Sometimes the judgment could be instant, while at other times the judgment is delayed. In any case judgment will come upon an unrepentant sinner. The punishment may be in form of hardship meted out to the sinner, or any other form of punishment God deems appropriate. When the persons put under such judgment genuinely repent of their sin, turn from their wicked ways, and cry unto God for forgiveness, God gives the assurance that He will forgive and deliver from the punishment. God is willing to forgive, to restore man to His loving kindness, and to heal their land. While man can be deceived by confession which is not genuine, God cannot be deceived. He knows the heart of man.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: It is high time our nation turned to God genuinely that He m~1 our land.

PRAYER POINT: Holy Spirit, give us repentant heart, come and heal our land in Jesus' name.
